We know that most people won’t like that their vacuum is taking pictures of their homes. For the sake of privacy, we want to be able to make sure that people can turn their vacuum on or off and connect or disconnect as needed. The balance between automation and consumer control must consider security along with convenience.
How do our Neato robot vacuums work?
Unlike camera-based robot vacuums, Neato robot vacuums do not capture images or videos of our users, their homes, or their belongings. We also don’t have microphones on board our robots and don’t record audio. We have world class encryption both on board our products and in the cloud and we never share or sell user data.
