Step 2 Unzip / extract the RobotData folder (Extract folder on Windows or double click to unzip on Mac). MacPC Mac PC Step 3 Plug the USB Flash Drive into your computer and copy the unzipped / extracted RobotData folder onto your USB Flash Drive. MacPC Mac PC Step 4 Unplug the USB flash drive, plug it into the Upgrade Cable and plug the Upgrade Cable into your Neato robot. Step 5 NOTE: THIS IS A 2-PART STEP. The robot first updates to version 2.1.1, shuts down, and thenAutomatically updates to robot software 2.2.0. This entire update process can take up to 3 minutes. During this period, do not remove the USB flash drive from the Neato robot. Go to the robot LCD screen and select MAIN MENU/SETTINGS/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press the SELECT button to start the software update process. The robot will first update to 2.1.1 and then to 2.2.0 automatically. Then the robot will reboot again. This process will take up to 3 minutes. Upon completion, the Neato robot will play the start-up chime and then show the main screen on its LCD. To verify, go to MAIN MENU/ABOUT/VERSION INFO and confirm that you have version 2.2.0 robot software.
