Step 1
Create a folder on your USB Flash Drive called RobotData (case sensitive).

Download the new robot software file to your computer.

Copy the downloaded file Neato_2.2.0_296.bin from your computer onto the USB Flash Drive and into the “RobotData” folder.

Unplug the USB Flash Drive, plug it into the Upgrade Cable and plug the Upgrade Cable into your Neato robot.
Step 5
Go to the robot LCD screen, and select MAIN MENU/SETTINGS/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press the SELECT button to start the software update. Press OK to start update.
The LCD screen will tell you when the software update is complete. The LCD screen will go blank and then the robot will reboot.
Upon completion, the Neato robot will play the start-up chime and then show the main screen on its LCD. To verify, go to MAIN MENU/ABOUT/VERSION INFO and confirm that you have version 2.2.0 robot software.

Go to the App Store or Google Play to get the latest release of the Neato app and access to the new features.
