Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer

 Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, document, and deploy our manufacturing test strategy during development and production lifecycle phases
  • Work closely with Engineering and factory test teams to develop product test requirements, implement manufacturing tests at vendor sites, and resolve issues during product development and manufacturing ramp
  • Optimize test processes and implement product test improvements
  • Communicate to management regularly on status, issues and solutions, improvement plans, program status and process recommendations
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.


  • Minimum of 7 years hands on PCBA, sub-assembly and system level Manufacturing Test development experience (Not Silicon)
  • Experience working with global manufacturing partners and suppliers such as contract manufacturers, distribution centers, and repair centers
  • Working knowledge of Python and C# or C++
  • Windows and Linux administration, test equipment driver development
  • Prefer BASH Scripting, NI LabVIEW and TestStand experience
  • Partner with suppliers to design, prototype, and deploy manufacturing test fixtures
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse fast-paced environment
  • Experience in test automation and test frameworks to enable comprehensive test coverage
  • Prefer experience with high volume consumer products, electro-mechanical products
  • Prefer experience with Robotics, Optics, or LIDAR laser measuring systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Confluence, Jira
  • Excellent communication skills (writing and oral)


  • Engineering (EE, ME, CS, Technology or related) Bachelor’s degree required
