Sr. Systems Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Systems Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable software for internal platforms that support the work of Neato Robotics engineering teams.

  • Support the architecture and implementation of Linux/QNX-based embedded systems
  • Research new technologies and implement software components to leverage and evaluate a variety of hardware architectures to meet scalability, security, and performance goals
  • Work with a wide range of software and hardware engineering teams to support their workflows or integrate their technology into our platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent related experience. Advanced Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience operating in real time, control system-based environments
  • Fluency in C/C++, Python for embedded systems
  • Understanding of concurrency, data structures, algorithms, distributed system and architectures
  • Familiarity with all aspects of software development from architecture to deployment and maintenance
