Director of Robot Product Management

Responsibilities

The Director of Robot Product Management will define and specify all features and product requirements for products and accessories worldwide; as well as OEM versions of products for other partners; managing and driving the product roadmap and overall portfolio; driving product lifecycle management for Neato products including pricing and EOL plans for all products in market; driving launch plans and product transitions across the organization and globally. 

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering
  • 5 years’ experience in product management in a consumer electronics/technology company
  • Experience managing a multi device portfolio, including experience in product planning, market analysis and portfolio planning
  • Understanding of U.S. consumer distribution (retail) channels for technology products/solutions
  • Experience managing the lifecycle and launch of new products with global sales organizations;
  • Experience in defining product positioning, building consumer targets, creating value propositions, and sizing the market
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies
  • Understanding integration tradeoffs when building a product with electrical, mechanical, SW and cloud elements
  • Experience with product management of consumer robotics or consumer smart connected devices
  • Experience managing personnel and managing matrixed product teams to deliver consumer technology products
